HTC's One M9 is official

It's time for another One — HTC has unveiled its latest flagship handset. And, as reports and leaks had suggested, the 2015 One M9 looks a lot like last year's M8. The design has barely changed beyond a relocated power button here and some refined lines there, and the screen is still a 5-inch 1080p LCD, but the phone's internals have been overhauled completely.

The One M9 is powered by a Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor backed up by 3GB of RAM. The battery is 2840mAh, there's 32GB of storage (expandable with microSD cards), and the front-facing dual BoomSound speakers remain in place - this time with Dolby Audio tuning. The Huawei Watch is the most watch-like Android smartwatch yet

We've just seen Huawei unveil its first Android Wear device, the Huawei Watch, at Mobile World Congress. There have been a few other circular Android Wear watches before — LG showed us one just a few hours ago, in fact — so Huawei's is very much a known quantity from a software and functionality perspective.

Huawei announces its first Android Wear smartwatch

The Huawei Watch is official, as the company just announced the first smartwatch in its line of wearables here at Mobile World Congress, confirming the leaks we saw in the days leading up to the event. It's a round Android Wear watch with a 286 ppi 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen that will be sold in gold, silver, and black.

Inside you will find a heart rate monitor, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, a 6-axis motion sensor, and a a Qualcomm 1.2GHz processor to power it all. It will pair to any Android phone using Bluetooth LE. Huawei will sell the watch in over 20 countries, including most of North America, Europe, and South America, but exact and pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.

Our first look at LG's new webOS and Android Wear smartwatches

LG has kicked off Mobile World Congress this Sunday morning in Barcelona by showing off its two Watch Urbane smartwatches for the first time. The pair were announced in the lead-up to MWC, but this has been our first opportunity to see them in person and get some lingering questions answered.

The regular Watch Urbane puts a premium spin on Android Wear, but the Watch Urbane LTE is a different proposition altogether — it's the world's first smartwatch with LTE connectivity, and last week we thought it might be the first webOS smartwatch too. How are they both looking?

HP's Spectre x360 is a powerful new MacBook Air competitor

HP is introducing what it's calling its "most premium" computer yet: the Spectre x360, a high-end laptop that's able to flip its display around to work as a tablet, too. The Spectre x360 has an aluminum body that's 15.9mm thick and weighs 3.3 pounds. It has a simple, silver-gray style that probably won't draw too many glances, but it's the power inside that counts.
