Did you feel that? Half the power at the Superdome in New Orleans, LA just went out and the Super Bowl is on hold. CBS commenters say a power surged in the building knocked out lights in half the stadium, and the resetting process could take up to 15 minutes. The outage has persisted for several minutes, and is an unusual interruption for an event with such high production values.
In the meantime, CBS is pushing up some ads and filling in with commentary. And don't worry, there's always a BlackBerry ad to watch. Thankfully there's no real chaos. Are you out there, David Pierce?
