For a while, it looked like the Wikipad would never arrive: the company's promising — and expensive — 10-inch Android tablet and detachable gaming controller was never seen again after missing its Halloween release date. In February, though, it was reborn as a 7-inch tablet at half the price, and now Wikipad says it will go on sale June 11th for $249.99 at Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, and Tiger Direct.
That's not a terrible price for what you're getting here, assuming the build quality stays high: a Tegra 3 processor running Android 4.1 on a 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS screen, with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage with microSD expansion, GPS, a front-facing camera, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0, all wrapped up in a thin and light...
