T-Mobile users can now send MMS messages to Google Voice numbers


As it prepares to launch Google's Nexus 5, T-Mobile is throwing a bone to users of another service from Mountain View: Google Voice. Your Google Voice number can now receive MMS messages from T-Mobile subscribers. The company becomes only the second wireless provider to enable MMS support. But like Sprint, it works a bit differently than what you're accustomed to. Instead of MMS content being delivered directly to your Google Voice number, photos and other media are delivered to your Gmail inbox. (Users are notified via SMS when an MMS has been received.) It may not be the most intuitive solution, but it definitely beats never receiving those messages to begin with. If someone on AT&T or Verizon Wireless sends you an MMS, those messages...
