Liquid Image debuts a wearable camera that streams over LTE


Wearable camera maker Liquid Image is releasing a small mountable camera capable of streaming video live over LTE with the addition of a detachable module. The device is targeted toward athletes who want to stream their exploits in live time and organizations that want to broadcast their events, and can also be used for home security.


The Ego LS model 800 debuted at CES today and will go on sale in June for $199.99, the company says. The LTE module will retail for an additional $199.99.
