Beats Electronics, founded by rapper and producer Dr. Dre and record label executive Jimmy Iovine, dominates the high-end headphone market and operates a less successful streaming music service. And, according to recent reports, it could soon become Apple's biggest acquisition ever. Nothing is confirmed, but there's already plenty of speculation about what this means for Beats, Apple, and the original wearables category: headphones.
