Isis mobile wallet will rebrand to avoid sharing name with violent militant group


Isis is facing an identity crisis. The company behind the mobile wallet app has announced it will rebrand to avoid sharing its name with the extremist militant group ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The group is directly responsible for thousands of gruesome deaths across Iraq and Syria in recent months. Its fighters have seized upon an ineffective Iraqi government and taken control of key cities and swaths of land in their mission to impose strict Islamism throughout the region.
