The Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday reassigned forward Marek Tvrdon and goaltender Jared Coreau from the Griffins to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye. In addition, the Griffins assigned forwards Tyler Barnes and Kyle Bonis and defenseman Scott Czarnowczan to Toledo, while releasing forwards Tyler Elbrecht, Anthony Luciani, Justin Mercier and Jerome Verrier and defensemen Kevin Clare and Joe Houk from their tryouts.
