Mirrorless cameras are getting closer to pro DSLRs in both form and function, and Olympus arguably kickstarted the trend. While its compact rangefinder-style PEN cameras were among the first mirrorless models to turn heads, three years ago Olympus announced the OM-D E-M5, an impressive SLR-style shooter that the company tells The Verge sold four times as many units as expected.
