Hard Target was John Woo's first foray into the world of Hollywood movies, and it looks as though the Chinese director took full advantage of the extra budget afforded him. In the brief clip below, produced by the Los Angeles Times in 1993, you can see some of the many and elaborate moving camera set-ups that were used to shoot the film — everything from flying cameras to rotating ones, all of which helped capture star Jean-Claude Van Damme race through the hills on a motorcycle. When you have hair like that, you definitely want to capture it from every possible angle.
