The American Hockey League on Monday announced that Griffins right wing Tomas Jurco has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 22. After being assigned by Detroit last Tuesday for conditioning, Jurco posted a league-best seven points for the week (3-4—7) and led the Griffins to three consecutive victories over Western Conference powers, tallying assists on all three game-winning goals.
