Happy birthday to Tom Waits, a great American actor known for his role as Doc Heller in Mystery Men, Radio DJ Silva in Bear Skin: An Urban Fairytale, and an uncredited drunken bar owner in the 1981 classic Wolfen. He's also reportedly a musician, known famously for contributing to the Shrek II soundtrack.
* Just kidding, we love Tom Waits and really hope he has a sense of humor but whatever he probably will never see this anyway.
** It's also the 40th anniversary of The Blue Marble, which is also a role we're pretty sure that Tom Waits made famous.
