Animoog 2.0 lets you tilt your iPad to make music, record to a built-in four-track

Moog Music released version 2.0 of its Animoog synth app for the iPad today. The updated Animoog builds on the originals wacky controls and design with new features such as accelerometer support, extended controls, better MIDI support, and a new four-track recorder add-on.


The coolest parts of the update are the accelerometer support, which lets you move and tilt the iPad to modulate sound parameters on the synth, and the four-track recorder. The add-on, which is free through the end of the year, $4.99 after that, lets you record, edit, loop, import from iTunes, and export to Soundcloud without ever having to leave the Animoog app.
