Gmail update for Android 4.0 and 4.1 users adds resizable messages and swipe to archive feature

Gmail received a few nice updates when Android 4.2 Jelly Bean launched — at long last, emails resized to fit your device, and you could swipe a message to automatically archive it. Now, a new Gmail update brings those new features to all handset running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and up. In addition to resizable emails and swipe-to-archive, Gmail also now features the option to attach photos and videos directly within the Gmail app and improved photo previews and a full gallery view when adding those attachments. Overall, it's not a huge update, but resizable emails has long been one of the biggest issues with Gmail on Android — we're glad to see it finally rectified.
