
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk are two of the most important people in the private spaceflight field, and now it looks like they'll be going head-to-head over some valuable real estate. According to CNBC, the heads of private space firms Blue Origin and SpaceX are set to battle it out over NASA's Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida — the site of the first and last space shuttle launches, among many other significant events in NASA history. Now that the space shuttle program has officially shut down, NASA considers the space surplus and wants to sell it to a private company in an effort to save money.
