Motorola calls the Moto X the 'first smartphone you can design yourself' in new ad

The Moto X smartphone is hardly a secret anymore — Motorola's CEO confirmed that the phone would be made in the USA and coming soon back in May — but the company just dropped a tantalizing new detail in a new newspaper ad that was revealed by Ad Age . The advertisement plans up the "built in the US" angle but also claims that the Moto X will be "the first smartphone you can design yourself." Unfortunately, there's no other clue whatsoever as to what that means — will potential buyers simply be able to customize the phone's exterior, or will Motorola have a more bold scheme of letting users customize its specs as well?
