XKCD's 'Time' comic comes to an end after more than 3,000 panels

The epic, 3,099-panel XKCD comic entitled "Time" has finally run its course. Back in March, BoingBoing reported that Randall Munroe’s strip — a favorite of Verge staffers and Richard Dawkins — would be unveiling new frames in the series one at a time, as it told a story of sandcastles, exploration, and a quest to understand the sea.
