If Redbox has hit the limit on DVD rental kiosks, what's next?

"Ladies and gentlemen, I think it's time we look beyond DVD, beyond Blu-ray, and to a new physical format altogether. One that will meet our needs for years to come. The disc itself is wearing thin, no pun intended. Customers can't tell the difference between a CD and a Blu-ray at first glance. If the hold it the wrong, they can smudge or worse scratch the data away. Scratch. It. Away. And cloud? What's cloud? It's nothing tangible. My esteemed colleagues, what I hold today will last a lifetime. It's portable, you can hold it pretty much however you want, and it will stand the test of time."

"Excuse me, sir? That's a Super Nintendo cartridge."

"Exactly!"
