With a fresh visual redesign under its belt, Slacker is now making the leap to consoles. Initially announced way back at E3 2012, Slacker for Xbox 360 is now available as a free download to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Once signed up, you'll have access to Slacker's music catalog which the company says now stretches into the millions. "Expert-programmed" stations can also be streamed from the app. In celebration of its console launch, Slacker has tapped Destructoid editor Dale North to host and curate a gaming-themed station that promises to play "hand-picked selections from the soundtracks of epic franchises including Halo, Gears of War, and Final Fantasy."
