Physical albums may be slowly going extinct, but that doesn't mean we don't miss the beauty of cracking open a new record and enjoying some real, tangible album art. It looks like one Michael Zoellner agrees with us, because he took physical album art one step further and made a 3D printout of the cover of Joy Division's debut album Unknown Pleasures. "After watching Grant Gee's documentary Joy Division, I decided I had to print the iconic cover of their first album Unknown Pleasures in 3D," says Zoellner. "Unfortunately I could not find a single vector graphic or 3D model anywhere." So in the end, Zoellner just created his own 3D printing files and got the artwork printed for himself.
