This collection of over 4,400 cameras is the envy of shutterbugs everywhere


What do you do when you already hold the world record for the largest collection of cameras? If you're Indian photojournalist Dilesh Parekh, you go about increasing it by nearly 70 percent to establish another world record. Parekh's current collection of 4,425 cameras is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest single collection of cameras in existence (his earlier record-setting collection only contained a mere 2,634 cameras). If it can take a photograph, chances are Parekh owns it, and he has been amassing his horde for 25 years by actively scouring flea markets and old studios, making relationships with other collectors, and even posting classified ads in newspapers.
