Twitter rolls out new look for conversations on Android and iOS


Twitter has announced a new interface change for its iOS and Android apps. Instead of showing single tweets at a time, Twitter is expanding the stream to make conversations between users move visible. The home screen will now display the most recent three tweets in any conversation, expanding to show the full conversation when tapped. Conversations will also be marked by a vertical blue line to indicate non-chronological tweets. The update also makes it easier for users to report tweets as abusive from the web or mobile interface, a feature that had been specifically requested after recent harrassment controversies. The changes will begin rolling out to mobile users today.
