'Beyond: Two Souls' co-op will let players control Ellen Page's ghost with a smartphone


When Quantic Dream and Sony release Beyond: Two Souls, the studio's anticipated followup to Heavy Rain , you'll be able to complete the entire game using a smartphone or tablet. Both iOS and Android will be supported, with an official app letting players swap Sony's DualShock 3 controller for their preferred mobile device. Kept secret until now, this "Beyond Touch" feature was announced at Gamescom 2013 by Quantic lead David Cage. You'll be able to complete the entire game using the unique input method, meaning every action that's possible on a traditional controller can be carried out with a phone or tablet.
