Android 4.0 finally comes to Motorola's Droid Bionic

Verizon is announcing that at long, long last, the Droid Bionic is getting an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. While the phone was originally slated to get the update last quarter, it seemingly fell through the cracks. Just when it looked like all was lost, its cause was taken up by Motorola’s new VP of product Punit Soni last month, who pledged to get an update out to Droid Bionic users he believed were getting a "raw deal."


After installing the update, users will get access to a raft of improvements such as better multitasking, the ability to create folders, detailed usage information, and access to ICS-only apps like the Chrome browser.
