Apple delaying iTunes 11 until the 'end of November'

Apple has reportedly delayed the release of iTunes 11, according to a statement released to AllThingsD . Originally slated for this month, an Apple spokesperson says that the latest version of Apple's music, apps, and media client is being pushed until the "end of November." The release is being delayed in an effort to add additional polish to the software, Apple representative Tom Neumayr said.



The new iTunes is taking longer than expected and we wanted to take a little extra time to get it right. We look forward to releasing this new version of iTunes with its dramatically simpler and cleaner interface, and seamless integration with iCloud before the end of November.
