Type Fun01 is a new site designed to introduce the basics of typography in a "fun and engaging" way. Created by Chicago-area designer Will Ryan, the tutorial provides a sleek and aesthetically pleasing run-down of the history and taxonomy of different typefaces, including an especially helpful primer on anatomy — the language used to describe a particular type. Reading the tutorial certainly won't make you a professional typographer, but it'll at least help you sound like one at your next cocktail party.
