Netflix's 'Arrested Development' illegally downloaded 100,000 times in first 24 hours

Netflix still hasn’t released official numbers for its premiere of Arrested Development's new fourth season on Sunday, but if BitTorrent is any indication, the show is doing great. paidContent reported that it was downloaded more than 100,000 times within 24 hours of its premiere, citing figures provided by TorrentFreak. The number is only a fraction of the million downloads racked up by Game of Thrones in April, but still impressive for a cult show that only drew six million viewers at its peak in the mid–2000s.
