Facebook adds Cover Feed to standard Android app, no Home required

Facebook has announced that a new update of its regular app will include Cover Feed, the company's replacement for Android's lock screen. Explaining the move, Facebook says it's noticed many Facebook Home users have already opted to use Cover Feed while sticking with Android's default app launcher, so packaging it into the core app seems to be a logical choice.


But if you are looking for the entire Facebook Home experience, there's more good news: Facebook is finally bringing it to more devices. And they're popular ones: the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Nexus 4 have all been added to the list of supported hardware as of today.
