Paul Reubens has hinted at the prospects of a new Pee-wee Herman movie for years now, but it sounds like there's a chance the long-rumored project might actually be moving forward. According to the Los Angeles Times , Reubens says that a director has been chosen for the next Pee-wee movie — and he also says that a script is complete and the project has secured the necessary financing. Those are some pretty big hurdles to clear, no doubt, but time will tell if the Judd Apatow-produced film will actually move forward to a casting and shooting phase any time soon.
