MailChimp rewarding users with ten percent discount for enabling two-step authentication

Google and Apple can't exactly reward customers who make their accounts more secure with two-step authentication — not financially, anyway. Both companies provide free services that require no monthly fee. But for email marketing company MailChimp, it's actually a sensible option. Users that enable two-step security on their accounts will now receive a ten percent discount off their monthly bill. "Previously, we gave a 2 percent discount, which was probably only significant for high volume senders. 10 percent makes it significant for everybody," writes Ben Chestnut, co-founder and CEO of the newsletter service. MailChimp's monthly subscription rates start at $10, so at the very least you'll save a buck and your account will be better...
