This LaCie hard drive is the first one made for Apple's new MacBook


LaCie has always catered to Mac users with its line of external hard drives, and the company is wasting no time in building one designed for the do-everything USB-C port on Apple's new MacBook. Today LaCie announced that it will ship a new model of the Porsche Design Mobile Drive sometime next quarter in capacities of 500GB, 1TB, or 2TB. Pricing details aren't available yet, but considering this is the first external drive perfectly suited for Apple's latest Mac, LaCie could easily charge more than the $69.99 price these drives start at today.
