Want to watch TV on your Xbox One? Well, you certainly have plenty of options, but if you're a Time Warner Cable customer you now have yet another choice. The cable company released its TWC TV app for Xbox One this week.
Subscribers will be able to access roughly 7,000 TV shows and movies on demand using the app, but unlike other versions of the app, it does not provide access to live TV channels. That's particularly disappointing because live TV channels were the best feature of the TWC TV app for Xbox 360. It offered around 300 live channels, all without needing to pay for another cable box hookup. Time Warner Cable is reportedly working on bringing that feature to Xbox One soon, but in the meantime you can check out the TWC TV app...
