NASA's Mission Control Center explored in rare glimpse behind the scenes

Mission Operation Control Room 2 or MOCR2 for short oversaw the vast majority of NASA's Gemini and Apollo flights before being decommissioned in 1992 and marked as a historical landmark. Ars Technica was given the opportunity to explore the restored MOCR2 in brilliant detail, explaining the different sections of the room while looking at the technology that NASA had to work with during the 1960s. Not only that, but each and every station in the room has been profiled, complete with technical diagrams outlining specific functions. Anyone following the rich history of NASA will not want to miss this.
