NICASTRO TO TOLEDO

The Red Wings on Wednesday reassigned defenseman Max Nicastro from the Griffins to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye. Nicastro, 22, has appeared in five games with the Griffins in his first professional season, recording one goal and a plus-two rating.
